Three-day centenary celebrations of Andhra Medical College will begin on October 27

News EventAndhra Medical College (AMC) will kick off its three-day centenary festivities on October 27. The centenary celebrations committee chairman, Dr. T. Ravi Raju, stated that the event is anticipated to draw at least 3,000 college alums from around the globe. Dr. Ravi Raju stated Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar will be the special guest at the college's inaugural event while speaking to reporters on Tuesday at the AMC campus. Mr. Dhankar will also formally open the AMC Centenary Building, which is currently under development.
Alumni stepped up to build the facility without depending on government funding, because they wanted to do something beneficial for the kids. For the structure, the State government has allotted 1.6 acres of land adjacent to the medical institution. With gifts from the alumni, the building's construction was finished at a cost of about 50 crore, he continued.
Regarding the program's timetable, Dr. Ravi Raju stated that the first day would take place on the grounds of AMC, while the final three days will take place at the Andhra University Convocation Centre. In addition, he mentioned that a pylon would be launched to commemorate the centennial celebration. He also mentioned that AMC is one of the few colleges in the nation commemorating its century.
