There will no longer be lengthy lines for outpatient (OP) tickets at Kerala's government hospitals. In a significant step to give patients a hassle-free experience, Kerala has launched an app that allows users to use their UHID or Aadhaar number to schedule outpatient consultation tickets.
As part of the eHealth initiative, the Department of Health launched the MeHealth mobile application, which will allow patients to schedule Outpatient (OP) tickets for medical consultations at government facilities. According to a senior health department official, the app will assist with reducing lengthy lines at hospital OP ticket offices.
