Pet lovers now have an additional way to travel with their dogs and cats with the debut of Pet Rides, an electric ride-hailing service by BluSmart, in Delhi and Gurugram.
The service comes after Uber decided to launch Uber Pet last year, a tool that lets users schedule pet-friendly travel under certain restrictions. Ola usually lets the driver make the decision, although it doesn't have an official pet policy.
Pet rides from BluSmart can be rented for extended periods of time or for regular point-to-point reservations. With features like foldable dog-seat hammocks, a dedicated carrier space, and improved ventilation, the cars are made to guarantee a comfortable ride for both people and their dogs.
According to the firm, the cars are meticulously cleaned after each journey to ensure hygienic conditions, and they are equipped with foldable dog-seat hammocks for maximum ventilation and carrier capacity.
