Electric two-wheeler start-up Oben Electric is set to unveil its latest offering, the Oben Rorr EZ electric motorcycle, on November 7. The company has shared a teaser of the upcoming model. Although key specifications for the Oben Rorr EZ have yet to be disclosed, it is designed to serve as a practical daily commuter equipped with LFP battery technology.
Oben claims to have a fully in-house approach, from R&D to manufacturing critical components such as batteries, motors, vehicle control units, and fast chargers. Currently, Oben Electric features the Oben Rorr in its lineup, which is priced at Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom). This electric motorcycle is powered by an 8kW permanent magnet synchronous motor paired with a 4.4kWh battery, providing an efficient performance for riders.
The Oben Rorr boasts a claimed range of 187 km on a full charge, with a top speed reaching 100 km/h. This electric motorcycle is equipped with fast charging capabilities, allowing it to recharge up to 80% in just two hours, making it a convenient option for riders seeking efficiency and performance.
