Keraleeyam 2023; twenty-five curated expos will be organised over the week-long celebrations starting from November 1

News EventThe Kerala State government's week-long Keraleeyam 2023 celebrations will begin on November 1 and feature 25 carefully designed expos. The State's sustainable models through progressive policies, technology advancement, women, media, photography, visual arts, the IT and start-up ecosystem, and skill development are just a few of the themes that will be covered by these events, which are scheduled across 16 venues, according to Minister for Higher Education R. Bindu, who made the announcement here on Sunday.
There will be four installations at the Keraleeyam venues that are related to the water conservation campaign.
At the Putharikkandam ground, there will be an industrial fair called "Biz Connect." The Central Stadium will host the exhibition on progressive policies, the advancements made by the State in many areas, and development models from the socio-economic and infrastructure sectors of the State.
Central Stadium will also host a sustainable models video presentation called "Reels of Change" and an exhibition on Kerala's handicraft villages. The University College will host "Sapiens 2023," an exhibition on the knowledge economy and the accomplishments of the State in this field.
"Penkaalangal," which aims to shed light on the history of women in Kerala, their hardships, and the numerous movements for their empowerment, will be held at Ayyankali Hall. Twenty-five of the top start-ups in the IT industry will take part in "The Cyber Symphony" at Kanakakunnu, which aims to highlight their accomplishments.
There will also be an infrastructure development expo by the Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB), a series of expos on the cultural diversity of the State organised by institutions under the Cultural Affairs department, and a visual arts exhibition curated by Bose Krishnamachari at the College of Fine Arts.
The Keraleeyam festivities will include a trade fair with approximately 400 vendors spread across eight sites, according to Dr. Bindu. Putharikkandam Ground, Kanakakkunnu, Central Stadium, University College, Tagore Theatre, LMS Compound, Institution of Engineers Hall, and the Government Women's College are the locations of the events. The fairs are scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. No fee to enter.
