District Central Library launched the 56th National Library Week on Tuesday in Tiruchi

The 56th National Library Week got underway on Tuesday with a number of events for book lovers hosted by the District Central Library and its Readers Forum.

The Children’s Day celebration at Government Girls’ Higher Secondary School on Town Hall Street in Tiruchi gained extra energy on Tuesday thanks to a book review session.

Over 600 kids attended the event, which was officially opened by District Library Officer A.P. Sivakumar in front of top authorities and Readers' Forum President V. Govindasamy.

A statement claims that competitions in poetry, short stories, oratory, and seminars focused on women are among the other events scheduled. On November 20, National Library Week will come to a conclusion.
