NewsBorzo, a global intracity delivery service formerly known as WeFast, has announced its entry into the 3-wheeler and truck delivery market. This move is part of the company’s strategy to offer more diverse delivery options, particularly for larger shipments, to businesses in major Indian cities. The service will first launch in Mumbai, with plans to expand to Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Pune.
By introducing 3-wheelers and trucks into their delivery fleet, Borzo aims to cater to bulk and heavy shipments, such as furniture, repair parts, and large grocery orders. This will allow the company to better serve business-to-business (B2B) clients across India, offering more efficient and tailored logistics solutions.
The expansion into the 3-wheeler and truck delivery segment is in line with Borzo's goal of enhancing its service offerings and meeting the growing demand for large-scale deliveries. With this move, the company aims to create a comprehensive delivery service that can handle a variety of logistics needs.
Borzo’s target is to onboard 1,500 couriers by 2025, utilizing a combination of 3-wheelers and Tata Ace mini-trucks. They aim to achieve 500 deliveries per day with the new vehicle categories, helping to streamline operations and provide more efficient delivery options for businesses across India.
