50 delegates joined the Technical Tour and Excursion Visit hosted by the government of Andhra Pradesh

News EventThe 25th International Congress on Irrigation & Drainage and the 74th International Executive Council meeting of the International Commission on Irrigation & Drainage (ICID) included up to 50 delegates from the current international event, which is being hosted by the government of Andhra Pradesh. The delegations participated in a "Technical Tour and Excursion Visit."
Participants in the tour include representatives from Australia, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Iran, Malaysia, Indonesia, and other countries.
In AC buses, the delegates went to the Thatipudi Reservoir, Araku Valley, and Borra Caves. Sponsored by INCID, the participants were treated to lunch at Haritha Resorts, which is run by AP Tourism Development Corporation.
The delegates were given an explanation of the history of the Borra Caves, which are well-known for their breathtaking stalactite and stalagmite formations. They were then driven to the Araku Valley, where they saw the Padmapuram gardens, coffee farms, and the Tribal Museum. Later that evening, they were driven back to the city via the Thatipudi reservoir.
