News EventThe 22nd Visalandhra Visakha Book Exhibition will take place from November 25 to December 15, at Turner's Choultry, which is located in front of the Super Bazaar. The exhibition will be opened by collector A. Mallikarjuna, and Mayor G. Hari Venkata Kumari will be the special guest. As guests, DEO L. Chandrakala and manager of Visalandhra Publishing House, T. Manohar Naidu, will take part. J.V. Satyanarayana Murthy, assistant secretary of the CPI State, will serve as the event's host.
The goal was to encourage and instill a love of reading among the younger generation, according to P.A. Raju, manager of Visalandhra Book House, M. Pydiraju, district secretary of the CPI, and U. Appalaraju, general secretary of the Arasam district. There will be forty thousand books on display, published by different publishers nationwide and categorised into several categories, including children's literature.
They said that Visalandhra has been continuously conducting the book festival since 2001. They urged students, bookworms, and fans of literature to come to the expo and buy books. Books bought during the exhibition will be discounted by 10%.
