NewsOptiemus Electronics Ltd. and TP-Link have formed a strategic partnership to provide a variety of networking and smart home devices in India.
The action supports India's efforts to become a global center for electronics and telecommunications production and is in line with the "Make in India" campaign.
Optiemus’ state-of-the-art plant can produce up to 6 million devices annually starting in February 2025. It will produce a variety of important IoT and telecom goods, including cameras, modems, enterprise routers, home Wi-Fi routers, GPON (ONT), and other networking gear.
By March 2025, it is anticipated that the local market will be served by the TP-Link units manufactured in India.
Since Optiemus plans to purchase power adapters, mechanical parts, and other components from Indian suppliers, the collaboration will strengthen domestic supply chains and lessen reliance on imports, the business claims.
Significantly, this collaboration will increase job prospects in the nation.
