TCS sets up an advanced research center in partnership with IIT Kharagpur to conduct top-notch research

In order to conduct top-notch research in the fields of digital health, robotics, and intelligent systems utilizing edge computing, embedded systems, and artificial intelligence (AI), the Indian technology behemoth Tata Consultancy Services has established an advanced research center in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT KGP).

The center is situated in New Town, Kolkata, on the institute's research park.

More than 150 TCS scientists will investigate cutting-edge technologies and push the limits of innovation in three state-of-the-art labs at the TCS Research Center.

The areas covered by the labs will be robotics and visual computing, edge computing and analytics, and sensing and communications.

According to TCS, researchers will be able to expedite advancements in cutting-edge technologies like edge computing, embedded systems, and artificial intelligence thanks to the center's state-of-the-art equipment.
