Seventh Malleswaram Kadalekai Parishe will be organised from December 2 to 4 in Malleswaram, Bangalore

News EventThe Kadumalleshwara Swamy Temple will host the seventh Malleswaram Kadalekai Parishe from December 2–4. The iconic and historic Bengaluru Kadalekai Parishe has been brought to North Bengaluru annually by the Kadumalleshwara Friends' Association.
To commemorate the occasion, a 21-foot Nandi figure constructed from 800 kg of groundnuts would be placed at the temple. The expo will be opened by D.K. Shivakumar, the deputy chief minister. B.K. Hariprasad, the leader of the Congress, C.N. Ashwath Narayan, MLA, and Minister of Transport Ramalinga Reddy will also be present.
Over three days, some 3 lakh people are scheduled to attend the 200–300 stalls set up by farmers from Tumakuru, Kolar, Hassan, Chickballapur, Mysuru, and Mandya, offering both organic and hybrid groundnuts.
Cultural attractions will be available, such as a performance by the all-female Yakshagana company. A gift basket filled with groundnuts will be presented to each artist and notable guest. Additionally, as part of the "Hasiru Chaitanyotsava" campaign, they will be planting fifty trees in the region in cooperation with nearby schools and other social welfare groups like Malleshwaram Socials.
