Sea phase of MILAN-2024 kicked off in Visakhapatnam with a remarkable display of cooperation among ships and aircraft on Sunday

The sea portion of the biannual naval exercise MILAN-2024 got underway on Sunday off the coast of Visakhapatnam with an impressive demonstration of collaboration between the Indian Navy and ships and planes from across the world. 

The intense maritime phase, which includes the air, surface, and underwater domains, began on Saturday with a forceful naval demonstration. Day two saw the participants engage in a series of advanced exercises that covered all three aspects of maritime warfare: carrier operations, anti-submarine warfare, cross-deck landings, replenishment at sea, and weapon firing against surface and high-speed aerial targets.

The participating countries' dedication to fostering peace, stability, and interoperability in the maritime environment is demonstrated by the MILAN-2024 sea phase. The globe is witnessing a unified front of naval troops actively enhancing global maritime security and erecting bridges as the exercise advances, according to the official announcement.
