NewsSamsung and the healthtech firm Eka Care have teamed up to launch the "Health Records" feature in the Samsung Health app, which will assist users in managing their health more thoroughly.
Users can create and access their Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) straight through the Samsung Health Mobile App thanks to the Health Records feature. This has revolutionized the way people take control of their personal health records by making it simple for users to manage the health data produced by healthcare providers throughout India.
In line with the Indian government's Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) project, Samsung has launched a new initiative to empower its users by offering a smooth and secure connection into the nation's digital health ecosystem.
The Eka Care team and Samsung's R&D, UX Design, and Consumer Experience teams worked together to create the Health Records function.
This feature allows users to utilize their Aadhaar or mobile phone number to create an ABHA account within the Samsung Health app. After registering, individuals can check their medical history, which is safely connected to their individual ABHA IDs and includes prescriptions, test results, hospital stays, and more.
