"Tata Crucible - The Business Quiz" aims to challenge India's brightest young brains in the hardest business quiz by bringing them together. The Tata Group is directing many of its marketing efforts at the youth demographic, and one of its main projects in this regard is Tata Crucible.
In 2004, Tata Crucible was launched as a major project to mark the centennials of the birth of two of the group's notable leaders, J.R.D. Tata and Naval H. Tata, as well as the passing of the company's founder, J.N. Tata. 2004 was also designated as the "Century of Trust" year. In its initial year, it received a great deal of interest as a top-notch business quiz and has since grown to be an annual occasion.
