Ola Electric has announced the debut of its Gig and S1 Z scooter range in order to fully realize the potential of electric mobility for the public.
With starting pricing of Rs 39,999 (ex-showroom), Rs 49,999 (ex-showroom), Rs 59,999 (ex-showroom), and Rs 64,999 (ex-showroom), respectively, the new scooter lineup includes the Ola Gig, Ola Gig+, Ola S1 Z, and Ola S1 Z+.
According to Ola Electric, Ola Gig is made to meet the needs of gig workers who travel shorter distances. It has a sturdy build, enough range, a detachable battery, a sizable payload, and dependable safety features.
The scooter has a top speed of 25 kmph and an amazing 112 km IDC-certified range. It has a hub motor, a detachable 1.5 kWh battery, and 12" tires for better braking.
The scooter will be available for B2B purchases and rentals at an introductory price of Rs 39,999.
Deliveries of the recently launched scooters will start in April 2025 and May 2025, respectively, according to the manufacturer.
