NewsWinZO, a social gaming and interactive entertainment platform, has partnered strategically with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT).
Through innovation, the development of qualified individuals, and the expansion of startups to compete globally, the two-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) seeks to accelerate the growth of India's interactive entertainment industry.
The cooperation will concentrate on creating a strong network of more than 2,000 businesses, innovators, and students, offering them access to international opportunities, industry insights, and mentorship, the company said in a statement.
WinZO and DPIIT will work together to create a Center of Excellence (CoE) as part of the agreement.
The CoE will act as a launching pad for startups and entrepreneurs, concentrating on important areas like creating a workforce that is qualified for the industry, developing monetization strategies for Indian gaming assets, creating world-class "Made in India" intellectual property for international markets, drawing in foreign direct investment (FDI), and promoting the production of interactive technology products in India.
By providing professionals with state-of-the-art abilities in coding, animation, game design, and programming, the MoU also aims to close the talent gap in the industry.
Through mentorship from business executives and direct access to investors, the CoE will give companies access to WinZO's $50 million fund for interactive entertainment endeavors.
