Vi Business and PayU announced a strategic partnership aimed at assisting Indias MSMEs in their digital journeys

A strategic alliance between PayU, a prominent supplier of digital financial services in India, and Vi Business, the enterprise division of Vodafone Idea (Vi), was recently launched to assist India's micro, small, and medium-sized firms (MSMEs) in their digital transformation. As MSMEs' demands change, the alliance is expected to provide a full range of digital payment options.

Together with lower rates for other payment methods including domestic debit and credit cards and net banking, the alliance will provide Integrated Payment Solutions, which feature a seamless payment gateway that removes transaction fees for UPI and RuPay.

The WhatsApp Store Integration will also enable companies to offer a simplified purchasing experience within WhatsApp, streamlining the payment process and increasing client conversion rates. 

Furthermore, by offering consumers the choice to pay later on advantageous terms, the Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) option will allow MSMEs to get full payment at the time of purchase. 

Customised Offers at Checkout are another feature. PayU's "Offer Engine" will assist MSMEs in developing and implementing marketing strategies that raise average transaction values and cultivate client loyalty. 

Vi Business plans to improve MSME collaboration and productivity by providing special discounts on a range of products, including as mobile security apps, location monitoring services, Google Workspace, and personal cloud storage. With the increased productivity and teamwork that these technologies provide, MSMEs will be even more empowered to run their businesses.

By offering MSMEs customised digital payment solutions and productivity tools at discounted rates, the partnership seeks to meet their expanding digital demands.
