Blinkit partners with Airtel to deliver SIM cards to customers homes in just 10 minutes

For a small convenience fee of Rs 49, Blinkit and Jio rival Airtel have teamed up to deliver SIM cards to clients' homes in as little as ten minutes.

Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Sonipat, Ahmedabad, Surat, Chennai, Bhopal, Indore, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Lucknow, Jaipur, Kolkata, and Hyderabad are among the 16 cities where the service is now operational.

Over time, the firm intends to add more towns and cities.

Customers can use Aadhaar-based KYC authentication to activate the number through a straightforward process when the SIM card is delivered. Both postpaid and prepaid plans will be available to customers, or they can initiate an MNP to be ported into the Airtel network. 

For a smooth activation experience, clients can view the activation video and click the online link to expedite the procedure. Additionally, for any support they may require with any of these activations, all Airtel customers can use the Airtel Thanks App to visit the help center.

To guarantee a seamless and trouble-free transition, consumers will need to activate their SIM cards within a 15-day window after delivery.
