The well-known Swedish platform Truecaller, which blocks unsolicited calls and verifies contacts, has launched its AI-Powered Call Recording tool in India. Users of iOS and Android may now record calls, both inbound and outbound, from within the Truecaller app thanks to this new feature. According to a statement from the firm, the tool intends to improve user experience by offering a practical and effective way to record and organise critical discussions.
With a Truecaller Premium membership, users may use the premium AI Call Recording tool. According to Truecaller, it's a sophisticated cloud-based recording with excellent speech clarity. The ability to record and transcribe calls in both Hindi and English makes it a useful tool for both personal and business use. According to the corporation, the service, which was first introduced in English-speaking countries like the US, will soon reach other regions and languages.
According to Truecaller, its artificial intelligence (AI) integration allows users to participate completely in conversations without being sidetracked by taking notes.
Along with an AI-generated summary, the AI technology offers a thorough transcription of the full conversation. To begin recording calls on an iPhone, users only need to tap the Truecaller app; the recordings may be kept locally or backed up on iCloud.
Users of Android devices will receive notifications when recordings and transcriptions are available, and they will have a dedicated recording button or a "floating" button for other diallers.
