The people-focused mobility app Namma Yatri has announced the arrival of cab services in Bengaluru. Namma Yatri addressed the common problems of high commissions and opaqueness, stating that the company is committed to a lifetime zero-commission, direct-to-driver model. The strategic change promotes better vehicle upkeep, higher client experiences, and more driver revenue.
The ceremony was inaugurated by Dr. Ramalinga Reddy, Minister of Transport and Muzrai, Karnataka government.
Namma Yatri is an ONDC network partner that provides 100% open-source code and data. It states that it is the first app to use the most recent price guidelines that the Karnataka government has released.
Like its cars, Namma Yatri places a high value on efficiency and transparency in its cabs. It provides taxi services to meet the various needs of its clients, including non-AC Mini, AC Mini, Sedan, and XL Cab. The non-AC Mini Cab resolves common misconceptions about AC usage that arise between drivers and passengers. It promotes eco-friendly journeys and establishes defined service standards and affordable pricing for people on a tight budget.
The app will soon be available throughout Karnataka and include intercity, rentals, and scheduled journeys. Special requests like extra luggage, disability-friendly rides, pet-friendly travel, and journeys to public transportation hubs will also be accommodated.
