With the backing of the National Federation of Farmers' Procurement, Processing and Retailing Cooperatives of India Ltd (NACOF), NACOF Oorja has announced the establishment of E ASTRA NACOF OORJA Pvt Ltd, a new Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV).
The launch aims to increase the profitability of cultivation through sophisticated technologies and promote sustainable farming throughout India.
The recently founded SPV will function as NACOF Oorja's agricultural mobility wing, offering battery-powered tools and automobiles to the country's farmers.
Innovative tools including the E-Weeder, E-Reaper, E-Brush Cutter, and E-Cargo multi-utility 3-wheeler are part of the lineup. A 20-liter Milking Cum Chiller unit intended for sustainable dairy farming is also part of the launch.
Additionally, E ASTRA has opened an Advanced Technology Center as part of a strategic expansion.
Based on the technology of electric car range extenders, the institution has created a car Control Unit (VCU) that is revolutionary. This unit demonstrates the SPV's dedication to incorporating cutting-edge technologies to assist sustainable agriculture practices and controls every aspect of an electric vehicle (EV).
