JFK Transporters has placed a pre-order for 1,000 electric vehicles with Tresa Motors

JFK Transporters, a logistic firm, has placed a pre-order for 1,000 electric vehicles with the manufacturer - Tresa Motors. The Model V0.1, which was revealed in July 2023, is available from the Bengaluru-based start-up. The business is currently developing more electric trucks.

Currently, the 300kWh battery pack and 24,000Nm motor in the Tresa trucks allow for a 15-minute 10-80% charge. Their stated maximum speed is 120 kmph. The range of these electric vehicles on a single full charge was not disclosed by the manufacturer.

Using a Meg50 800V 50kWh self-contained battery pack module, the Tressa trucks are constructed on the Flux 350 chassis. Its IP69 rating and active-liquid cooling technologies allow the battery pack to have customised ranges depending on the payload.
