NewsIn April and May of 2024, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) will host the Space Science and Technology Awareness Training (START) program. In light of this, ISRO is requesting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from Indian educational institutions, colleges, and universities that offer UG and PG programs in the physical sciences and technology to host START-2024. The training program's primary goal is to get young people interested in space science and technology.
The training modules will cover a variety of space science and technology sectors at an introductory level. There will also be talks about Indian space exploration initiatives and research prospects. Eligibility for the training program is limited to postgraduate students and final year undergraduate students enrolled in Indian educational institutes, universities, and colleges studying physical sciences (physics and chemistry) and technology (e.g., electronics, computer science, mechanical, Applied Physics, Radiophysics, Optics & Opto-electronics, Instrumentation, and other related subjects).
The deadline for institutes, colleges, and universities to register their EOI online at https://jigyasa.iirs.gov.in/START is April 2.
Registration for students is open from April 8 to April 12.
