inDrive partners with Evera Cabs, to launch a fleet of EVs exclusively for women drivers

A fleet of electric vehicles (EVs) reserved for female drivers has been launched by inDrive, a worldwide platform for urban services and mobility, in collaboration with Evera Cabs, an all-electric taxi service in India. The programme is a part of inDrive's DrivingNaari project, which seeks to empower women by giving them equal opportunity to pursue careers as professional drivers. 

InDrive's DrivingNaari programme is intended to assist impoverished women in pursuing careers as professional drivers. Candidates who complete the programme receive a car funded by inDrive and are eligible for commission-free trips on the inDrive platform.

The partnership with Evera Cabs improves the DrivingNaari programme by providing co-branded services to participants. This initiative is essential for inDrive to achieve its growth goals—particularly growing its electric vehicle fleet in India.
