India has successfully flight tested the new generation ballistic missile Agni-Prime

Off the coast of Odisha, on APJ Abdul Kalam Island, India has successfully conducted a flight test of the new Agni-Prime ballistic missile. The test was conducted on Wednesday night by the Strategic Forces Command and the DRDO, according to the Ministry of Defence.

Key figures from DRDO and the Army, including Chief of Strategic Forces Command General Anil Chauhan, the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), were present during the event.

Following the successful test, Armed Forces, SFC, and DRDO were congratulated by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.

According to him, the military will greatly benefit from the missile's successful development and introduction.
