Greeneria holds the record for largest residential biogas system in India, providing a sustainable solution to Prestige Jindal City in Bengaluru

Greeneria is a member of the Indian Biogas Association (IBA), which works with ministries such as the Ministry of Water and Sanitation, the Ministry of Petroleum, and the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) to establish various policies. The GOBARdhan project and the SATAT programme were both greatly aided by the organisation. 

IoT-enabled projects by Greeneria are dispersed throughout India, including commercial centres like Forum, residential complexes, major IT firms like Hewlett Packard and Capgemini, and Rashtrapati Bhavan. Founder of Greeneria Renwable Technology, Bengaluru-based Rajendra Kumar promoted the use of biogas in urban settings, driven by the fact that it produces 4 percent more biogas from urban waste than from rural cow dung (2 percent). The establishment of compressed biogas (CBG) facilities is encouraged under the SATAT initiative for businesses. These facilities generate and provide CBG to Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) for use as fuel in industrial and automotive applications. The goal of the GOBARdhan effort is to turn organic waste, including as cow dung and agricultural residue, into biogas, compressed biogas (CBG), and bio-cNG using a variety of programmes and policies.

According to Kumar, the implementation of the Solid Waste Management Rules 2016 in tandem with the Swachh Bharat Mission's debut is one of the mission's major accomplishments in terms of waste management rules in India. The Bulk Trash Generator Rule in particular changed the game when it came to managing urban trash.
