FlixBus tickets will be available on the Paytm app to simplify access to intercity travel

In an effort to transform intercity bus travel in India, Munich-based FlixBus and Vijay Shekhar Sharma's fintech company Paytm have entered into a strategic alliance. This agreement will make FlixBus tickets available on the Paytm app, making interstate travel easier to obtain and more convenient for Indian passengers.

The collaboration with Paytm, according to FlixBus India MD Surya Khurana, would enable the business to provide its first-rate bus services to a wider segment of the Indian market.

With this collaboration, FlixBus hopes to strengthen its distribution network and grow into one of India's biggest intercity bus services. By using Paytm's enormous user base and technological know-how, FlixBus can greatly increase its reach.
