First-ever dedicated portal launched in Jaipur last week to provide real time information on the water level in dams and reservoirs

The first-ever dedicated platform was unveiled last week in Jaipur, and it will offer real-time data on the amount of water in various Rajasthani canals as well as the level of water in dams and reservoirs. It is anticipated that the site would aid in effective water management and make flood and drought forecasting easier. 

While unveiling the webpage today, Rajasthan was the first State to create a system that would make information on water availability available to the general public, according to Water Resources Minister Suresh Singh Rawat.
