Digi Yatra, which will paperless entry, check-in, and boarding will soon be active at Coimbatore International Airport

Digi Yatra, which provides paperless entry, check-in, and boarding, is getting ready at Coimbatore International Airport. Airport Director S. Senthil Valavan stated that all of the instruments and equipment required for Digi Yatra operations have been placed at the airport, and system testing is currently underway.

Passengers who want to utilize the service must first download the app to their mobile devices and register using personal information such as Aadhaar. The user will be prompted to take a selfie, which will be compared to the facial recognition system at the airport. Before embarking on their journey, app users must upload their travel documents. 

At the airport, visitors must scan their boarding pass using the app at the e-gate, where the facial recognition camera will also authenticate the flier. The data generated by the app at the first e-gate will ensure that passengers clear the remaining checkpoints smoothly.
