NewsCrime GPT is a specially designed Large Language Model (LLM) for the Uttar Pradesh police that can quickly provide contextual information on offenders, making it simpler to find and capture them. Officers may quickly obtain information about nine lakh criminals who are listed in the UP police database thanks to data that Crime GPT has been supplied. The databases of crimes and offenders maintained by the State's several law enforcement organisations are merged with the Crime GPT.
Because Crime GPT is based on extensive databases of information about crimes and offenders, it is far more capable than current technological solutions, which only let the police to conduct basic searches utilising the crime database. The model is developed on UP police's secure servers, trained on Staqu Technologies' exclusive LLM, and housed in the UP police data facility. The tool rapidly sorts through all of the digital information collected from the CCTV stream, as well as the text, audio, and picture data kept in the files, in the background.
The AI start-up situated in Gurugram is nine years old and the proud owner of two patents is Staqui. With 125 staff members, it has secured ₹15 crore in seed and pre-Series A funding rounds. Following the solution's implementation in Uttar Pradesh, the start-up said that it intended to discuss a replication of the project with the police departments of Punjab, Telangana, Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand.
