Bounce Infinity introduced a new variant of its popular Infinity E1 scooter - Bounce Infinity E1X

The popular Infinity E1 scooter has a new version called the Bounce Infinity E1X, which was presented by Bengaluru-based electric vehicle firm Bounce Infinity. The new vehicle will have a battery-swappable architecture and is priced between Rs 55,000 and Rs 59,000. It will go on sale countrywide in June 2024, according to the firm.

The most notable innovation of the Bounce Infinity E1X is its battery-swapping feature, which does away with the necessity for long charging breaks by enabling users to swap out empty batteries for fully charged ones at different network stations. There are two speed options for the scooter, with top speeds of 55 and 65 kmph.

In order to serve overseas markets, Bounce Infinity is also creating a speedier model with a top speed of 92 kmph. Few changes are needed for the E1X to work with various battery-swapping networks. The battery-swapping mechanism of the E1X is made to be simple and effective. Long-distance travelers can change their batteries at network stations, guaranteeing uninterrupted travel. 

The E1X is a flexible option because it can be customized and is compatible with all major battery-swapping networks. With an energy cost that varies from Rs 1 to Rs 1.5 per km based on usage and the switching operator, the operational costs are exceptionally low.

With Sun Mobility, Bounce Infinity has strategic plans to roll out over 30,000 EVs in important Indian markets. Bangalore and Hyderabad will be the first cities to receive the initial rollout, with Mumbai, Pune, and Delhi NCR to follow. In an effort to increase its market share, the company is also in negotiations with significant last-mile delivery, rapid commerce, and meal delivery services.
