NewsThe first AI teaching robot in India, called "Iris," has been launched in a school located in Kerala. Makerlabs Edutech has collaborated to build this robot. Through the provision of individualised learning opportunities for pupils, it seeks to introduce new ideas into the area of education. Thiruvanathpuram's KTCT Higher Secondary School is now home to the AI teacher.
Iris, an AI teacher robot, was created as part of the Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) project, which was started by NITI Aayog. It has a number of capabilities that are intended to revolutionise conventional teaching techniques. The creator claims that this AI robot is equipped with an Intel chipset and a built-in voice assistant. It communicates with users and provides individualised learning experiences through an Android app interface. It has wheels and is made to talk and comprehend a variety of languages and difficult issues related to a wide range of disciplines.
