NewsZepto, the next-door quick commerce app, is introducing the Zepto Pass membership programme. The programme provides savings of up to 20% on purchases above Rs 299 and unlimited free delivery for orders over Rs 99. For consumers in urban regions like Delhi and Kolkata, the programme aims to make everyday shopping more reasonable and easy. It starts at an initial price of Rs 19 per month.
Zepto is implementing this improvement as part of their plan to increase consumer loyalty and elevate the purchasing experience. After the first deal, there is a monthly membership price of Rs 99 for the programme. It is designed to serve a broad spectrum of clients, guaranteeing that the advantages are substantial and easily obtainable. According to the corporation, Zepto wants to keep growing the programme by including new features and making adjustments to meet the changing demands and tastes of its customers.
Beyond short-term gains like improved customer loyalty and engagement, Zepto's wider goals, such as a possible early 2025 IPO, are reflected in the introduction of Zepto Pass.
The income of the Mumbai-based fast commerce platform increased significantly, 14 times, from Rs 142.36 crore in FY22 to Rs 2,024 crore in FY23. But along with this expansion came a sharp rise in losses, which went from Rs 390 crore in FY22 to Rs 1,272 crore in FY23—a more than threefold increase.
