Uber Shuttle enhances India's mobility options; Uber CEO shared a photo of himself using the company's Shuttle Bus service

Uber Shuttle improves India's transportation alternatives as part of its multi-modal approach, which includes vehicles, two-wheelers, and three-wheelers. Like other items on the Uber app, the Shuttle now contains tech-enabled features introduced by the Uber tech team. 

Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi shared a photo of himself using the company's Shuttle Bus service with coworkers in Bengaluru, Karnataka, on X (previously Twitter). Two pictures, one of which had Dara Khosrowshahi smiling at the camera and the other of which showed the CEO standing outside the shuttle bus, were used by him to round out his post.

The post has received over 300 likes and over 50,000 views since it was shared. In response, a variety of comments have been made; some compliment him on using the shuttle bus, while others provide recommendations for Uber.

Launching a B2C 'Uber Shuttle' service in March 2024, the ride-hailing behemoth teamed up with Kolkata's State Transport Department last year. Uber Shuttle offers precise ETA information, live bus monitoring, air-conditioned vehicles on predetermined routes, and seat reservations up to one week in advance.
