The 9th edition of the International Pharma Exhibition to be held in Hyderabad from July 5-7

NewsThe International Pharma Exhibition (IPHEX) will be held in Hyderabad from July 5 to 7, 2018, under the auspices of the Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council of India. Pharmexcil Director General Ravi Uday Bhaskar, In his speech at the curtain-raiser for the organization's signature event here on Tuesday, said IPHEX will assist demonstrate the potential of the Indian pharmaceutical sector and inspire trust among stakeholders around the world. The show has developed through time into a venue that brings together Indian exporters, buyers from many nations, as well as authorities in charge of promoting commerce, and those from regulatory organisations.
At IPHEX, more than 375 exporters will display their products, and more than 600 foreign business representatives are anticipated. The show, which acts as a venue to examine commercial partnerships and technological transfers, is expected to draw 10,000 domestic visitors as well, according to the organisers. The three-day event will take place at the Hitex Exhibition Centre and include one-on-one business meetings and discussions with representatives from government procurement agencies and the NAFTA, EU, Africa, ASEAN, CIS, LAC, and WANA areas. The 9th edition of IPHEX, which is being organised by Pharmexcil with assistance from the Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry, will also include a special "G20 focused CEOs Roundtable" in recognition of India's G20 chairmanship. The schedule also includes panel talks on prospective G20 cooperation, economic opportunities for Indian pharmaceutical companies, quality compliance and patient safety, biosimilars, and vaccines.
Ministers, government officials, and representatives of foreign procurement agencies are also scheduled to visit modern manufacturing firms in Hyderabad. The trips are meant to acquaint them with the standards and best practises followed by the Indian pharmaceutical sector, which has contributed to the emergence of the nation as the "pharmacy of the world" with its supply of high-quality, reasonably priced generic medications. In FY22–23, India's pharmaceutical exports totaled $25.4 billion.
