Taiwan’s Foxconn Technology Group will start manufacturing iPhones at its proposed Devanahalli plant, north of Bengaluru city by April 2024

According to M.B. Patil, Minister for Large and Medium Industries, Taiwan's Foxconn Technology Group would begin producing iPhones at its planned Devanahalli facility, north of Bengaluru city in Karnataka, by April 2024.

The Karnataka Government repeated its commitment to providing Foxconn with the necessary land by July 1 when representatives of the business led by George Chu met with the Minister on June 15.

Foxconn has paid the KIADB 90 crore, or 30% of the expenditure. It has established an aim to produce 20 million (2 crore) iPhones yearly and has set a goal to finish the project in three phases.
