NewsStudents and the general public will get a unique opportunity on Saturday, to speak with the researchers behind Aditya-L1, an ISRO project to study the sun. On Saturday from 3.30 to 6 p.m., the interaction would take place at the seminar room of the Kerala State Science and Technology Museum (KSSTM) at PMG Junction.
The ISRO Aditya Mission Outreach Cell, the KSSTM, AASTRO-Kerala, and Global Science Festival Kerala are among the organisers. Satheesh Thampi, head of the Planetary Science Branch at the Space Physics Laboratory (SPL) at the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), Rajeev U. P., V. Rajasekhar, and Kiran Mohan, deputy project director for the Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre, will take part in the discussion, according to KSSTM director S.S. Soju in a statement here.
The moderator will be Professor Anand Narayanan from the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology. Entrance is free.
