Sixth book fair was hosted by the district govt and TN Science Forum at Pudukottai

The district government and the Tamil Nadu Science Forum, on Friday,  co-hosted the sixth Book Fair at Pudukottai Town Hall. The 10-day Book Fair was opened and inspected by Law Minister S. Regupathy, who was joined by District Collector I. S. Mercy Ramya and administrative officials. 

At the 112 stalls, around 3 lakh books on diverse themes are on show. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Regupathy stated that Chief Minister M. K. Stalin has directed the organisation of Book Fairs in each district. "Books enable us to know our rich history and civilisation," the Minister stated, urging the general population to acquire a reading habit, according to an official statement.
