Run for Unity, organised on the 148th birth anniversary of the leader, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, in Vijayawada on October 31

Divisional Railway Manager Narendra A. Patil stated that former Deputy Prime Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel played a significant role in national integration and that it is our responsibility to continue his job of fortifying the nation's togetherness.

Speaking on Tuesday, October 31, Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, he had just inaugurated a "Run for Unity" in honour of the leader's 148th birthday in Vijayawada. Over 250 employees of South Central Railway's Vijayawada Division participated in the event.

Afterwards, Mr. Patil gave the Clock Tower employees the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas commitment to preserve national unity. 

'Integrity Run' was also arranged by postal department personnel in the meantime. Postmaster General D.S.V.R. Murthy flagged it off, and it travelled from the Gandhinagar Sub-Post office to BRTS Road.
