NewsAccording to Deputy and Chief Minister and Minister for Bengaluru Development D.K. Shivakumar, Bengaluru's traffic congestion difficulties are frequently in the news even though Mumbai has more serious traffic challenges. Mr. Shivakumar said, in line with his opinion-seeking exercise, he will meet with all senior traffic police officers, retired officials, and traffic experts to discuss ways to lessen the traffic problem in Bengaluru after launching a Brand Bengaluru web portal (www.brandbengaluru.karnataka.gov.in) on Wednesday.
Mr. Shivakumar has already spoken with business titans, notable figures, previous chief ministers, political leaders, and MLAs from various political parties. "Besides them, I have to listen to the suggestions of the people," he said. We have started an online gateway for this. Before June 30, citizens can submit their recommendations on the platform.
Flyovers, tunnels, solid waste management, pathways, parks, and a host of other concerns have been raised by industry leaders and will be considered. He will also consider mobilising resources.
