Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to open the fourth terminal at Cherlapally sometime in the first week of March, according to a statement made by G. Kishan Reddy, the Union Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Development of the Northeast Region.
Additionally, he said that the last segment between Sanathnagar and Moula Ali would be ready by the end of the month and that the MMTS Phase-II suburban railway services will be finished in all respects in the coming days. However, he did not commit to launching more MMTS services or looking for new train sets in light of the expanded offerings. On Wednesday, he spoke during a news conference that was held at the Secunderabad train station.
There will be foot over bridges, multi-level parking, two travelators, thirty-two escalators, and twenty-six lifts. The station operates around the clock with trains arriving and departing, thus the demolition of old structures and relocation of offices are being done gradually. The renovated building should be completed by November 2025. He mentioned Hyderabad, Kacheguda, Begumpet, Lingampally, and numerous more stations that are changing.
