PM Narendra Modi will open 511 Pramod Mahajan Grameen Kaushalya Vikas Kendras in Maharashtra on Thursday

NewsUsing a video conference, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will open 511 Pramod Mahajan Grameen Kaushalya Vikas Kendras in Maharashtra on Thursday. In 34 rural Maharashtra districts, these Kendras are being set up. To give rural youngsters work possibilities, the Kendras will run skill development training courses in a variety of industries. Roughly 100 youth will be trained in at least two vocational courses at each Kendra.
Organisations under the National Skill Development Council and empanelled industry partners will offer the training. The Prime Minister's Office said in a statement that "the establishment of these Kendras will help the region attain significant strides towards developing a more competent and skilled manpower."
The programme bears the name of the late Pramod Mahajan, a national leader of the BJP.
