PM Narendra Modi released a special commemorative stamp and a Rs 75 coin to mark the opening of the Parliament

At the event held in the Lok Sabha chamber of the new building, Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed a special commemorative stamp and a Rs 75 coin to celebrate the opening of the Parliament.

The coin has a diameter of 44 mm and is made of quaternary alloy, which is 50% silver, 40% copper, 5% nickel, and 5% zinc, according to a previous announcement from the Finance Ministry.

The notification stated, "The face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar in the centre, with the legend ""Satyameva Jayate"" inscribed below, flanked on the left periphery with the word "" (Bharat) in Devnagri script and on the right periphery with the word "INDIA" in English.

The opposite side of the coin will display an image of the parliament complex, as per the notification. The inscription “Sansad Sankul” will be written in Devanagari script on the upper periphery while the words “Parliament Complex” in English on the lower periphery of the coin.
