Plastic expo HIPLEX 2023, being organised by the Telangana and Andhra Plastics Manufacturers Association, commenced on Friday

The Telangana and Andhra Plastics Manufacturers Association's four-day international plastic exhibition HIPLEX 2023 began on Friday at Hitex here. It is the largest plastics expo in South and Central India, as well as India's third largest. It covers an area of 20,000 square metres. Speciality chemicals, process machinery, printing and packaging, raw materials, moulds and die, post-processing equipment, quality testing equipment, and final goods are among the 400 exhibitors.

The event, which was inaugurated by Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) vice-chairman and MD E.Venkat Narsimha Reddy, is projected to create 500 crore in revenue, according to the organisers.

Mr. Narsimha Reddy, speaking on the occasion, stated that the Telangana government, under the TS-iPASS policy for granting time-bound or presumed clearances, has approved the project applications of 24,000 enterprises during the last eight and a half years. He stated that the first plastic park in the state had sold out and that if the industry want another, TSIIC was willing to supply the property.
