PGIMER unveils Student Life Cycle; complete management of admissions, examinations, payments of students

The "Student Life Cycle" academic administration system was unveiled by Chandigarh's Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER). Dr. Vivek Lal, head of PGIMER, introduced the product on Monday.

For all students enrolled in the institute's various postgraduate and postdoctoral courses, ‘Student Life Cycle’ will handle the full administration of admissions, exams, and payments. The software will keep track of a student's complete academic career, from admission to the announcement of results and even after they graduate.

During the admissions process, each student will receive a special identification number that will allow the software to view all pertinent student records. Students will have access to their personal records through Student Life Cycle, including details about their progress, exams, and fees. They can also ask for particular information to be emailed or text messaged to them.

Students will be able to easily access their academic records and certificates linked to their academic qualifications when this feature is phased in with the Digi-locker system. These papers will appear in the software as well.
