Members of parliament will enter into the new Parliament House, on Tuesday, the second day of the extraordinary session, more than three months after it was officially opened. At an all-party conference called by the government on the eve of the Special Session of Parliament, which is scheduled to take place between September 18 and 22; Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi notified floor leaders of various political parties about the decision.
The session will take place at the Old Parliament House on the first day. A photo session, which is typically only held after the conclusion of the Lok Sabha's term, will take place the following day, on September 19. Then there will be a gathering in the Central Hall at 11 a.m. We will then enter the new Parliament after that. Regular government work will begin there on September 20 and the next Parliament's session will begin on September 19, according to Mr. Joshi, who briefed the media following the two-and-a-half-hour meeting.
The only three days of the session that will be dedicated to government business are still up in the air. The Women's Reservation Bill was urged to be passed during this Special Session of Parliament by several parties, including certain NDA allies like the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and the National People's Party (NPP).
The gathering of all parties was attended by 51 leaders from 34 parties. There will be eight Bills discussed at the special session, four of which were previously on the government's list.
