The long-awaited rail service from Kashmir to Kanyakumari is ready to be launched. This is an essential link that connects Kashmir to the rest of the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to dedicate it to the country on January 26.
The 65-kilometer-long Katra-Sangaldan route, which includes Reasi Station, has been finished. Only a 17-kilometer length between Katra and Sangaldan, which includes the iconic Anji Khad bridge, is under CRS inspection. The prime minister will inaugurate them all together.
