Kerala State Road Transport Corporation ticket booking can be done from a new single online platform

The ticketing system for the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) will be moved to a new platform, starting on Tuesday. Passengers may now do so via a single online platform, www.onlineksrtcswift.com, as well as on the mobile application Ente KSRTC Neo-OPRS, to purchase tickets for both KSRTC buses and its new entity KSRTC-SWIFT. 

As the agreement with Abhibus, which oversaw KSRTC's online reservation system, approaches its expiration date of September 30, 2023, the company is switching to a new platform. In August 2022, the KSRTC requested bids for a new service provider, and the new business was awarded the work order based on the winning bid. KSRTC-SWIFT services were initially launched on the new platform and monitored for around five months as part of evaluating the success of the new business.

A single platform for online ticket buying for KSRTC and KSRTC-SWIFT buses was proposed and would be tested starting on Tuesday, according to an announcement from the office of KSRTC Chairman and Managing Director Biju Prabhakar on Monday. This follows the new platform's successful trial run.
