NewsAccording to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, the State government will be hosting "Keraleeyam 2023," a seven-day event beginning on November 1 to showcase the State's accomplishments and cultural legacy to the globe. The Chief Minister announced on Tuesday that several events relating to Keraleeyam 2023 would be held in the city from Kowdiar to East Fort.
The major goal of Keraleeyam is to host seminars of the highest caliber with participation from the most prominent intellectuals and specialists on the planet. The seminars will be held with the intention of showcasing Kerala's accomplishments in many disciplines and creating a plan for Kerala's future. Upto 25 international lectures would be held, in five days. Additionally, there will be displays that highlight Kerala's technological accomplishments. The Chief Minister said that about ten exhibitions would be conducted at various locations.
The festival would also include trade displays, flower shows, and other artistic and cultural events. Additionally, a food market will be held in conjunction with the occasion to highlight Kerala's rich culinary tradition. Lamps would be illuminated, and the city and its historical sites would be adorned. The book festival, which was successfully conducted in the Kerala Assembly building the previous time, will be organised at that location this time as part of "Keraleeyam."
The Chief Minister added that since Malayalees living outside of Kerala wanted to participate in "Keraleeyam," the event could be set up such that guests may travel from all over the world. In addition, tourism would also gain significantly. The Chief Minister stated that the State administration also desired "Keraleeyam" sequels and added that, if circumstances permitted, he would take part in the upcoming Loka Kerala Sabha (LKS), which would be held in Saudi Arabia.
